Making jugs for beer. Home brew. Most of these will hold about 1 gallon. The designs are painted with a turquoise and cobalt engobe and then lined with an iron based engobe. The color does not show until after the bisque firing. That's when the ball clay that is in the engobe recipe will have burned off. They'll get bisqued later in the week and I will post a picture so you can see the difference.
